This tombstone utilizes diaphragm chucks and expanding mandrels to hold machined parts. Activation is achieved at a load station and constant pressure is maintained with an internal accumulator and safety check valve.
This Fixture is a hydraulically operated Universal Tombstone. It contains twleve 2-jaw self-centering power chucks with tongue and groove master jaws. Various sets of jaws can be mounted for clamping families of parts. Quick change over maximizes production volume.
